Classes and Workshops
Some slight delays! "La Casita" is undergoing a thorough renovation and new room addition and has taken longer than anticipated. Because that is where class participants will be bunking, it will be necessary to postpone the etching class until August. Please accept my sincere apologies for any problems this delay has caused.
La Casita is a rammed earth (adobe) home on the ranch, with full kitchen and bathroom.
I offer individual or small group lessons throughout the year, here at the ranch, in horse anatomy as it relates to drawing, painting or sculpture. Intaglio Etching classes are limited to the warmer months.
Intaglio (Etching) Class
Class participants will explore the intaglio etching or simply "etching" process. Participants will work on a copper plate, and will leave with a small edition of prints of their image. All materials will be supplied, and class members will take their plates and prints home.
We will be working in my studio on the ranch. The class will be 3 days in length and participants will bunk in "La Casita". Participants will provide their own meals, or we can do a "pot luck". Tuition $500.
